I have a new podcast - Vino Bozo. It is just for fun. Wine and occasional cocktails. Episode 14 is out. We lost a few so the numbering doesn’t make sense.
The guy in the artwork looks nothing like me. Apparently we are getting some better art soon.

#BREAKING: David McBride jailed for 5 years and 8 months with no parole for 2 year 3 months!
Today we have seen the first person related to war crimes in Australia jailed, and it’s the whistleblower. What a stain on governance and justice in Australia.
David is a hero. #auspol
Brilliant Finance report on @abcnews in #Australia tonight by @AlanKohler
Alan runs through latest global inflation, mortgage rates… and then shows us the latest Antarctic record-low sea ice levels, concluding “that’s not finance yet, but it soon will be.” #ClimateEmergency
What is happening to Australia? I have no words, I can not believe they are making budget cuts to the health industry with all these construction and coal fat cats raking it in. Disgusting.
Hundreds of Victorian healthcare workers are set to be axed as the state government races to reel in record debt. The job cuts were flagged in a leaked video to staff, which has emergency doctors on edge. https://t.co/5zYfOfGqUb @NickMcCallum7#7NEWS
@newscomauHQ Coles already replaced workers with their self-serve checkouts, yet they never lowered their prices (and are still price-gouging farmers).
What makes you think they’ll do that when they replace the packers?
Learning about the invasive, dangerous online processes in rental applications.
Renters have to provide DOB and passport in online systems.
Unnecessary and stupid to collect that type of information via web forms and no, no one trusts you to protect their privacy.
The UN has highlighted the importance of climate activists & their right to hold demonstrations
"Climate activists have continued to pursue their goals even in the darkest days. They need to be protected & we need them now more than ever"

South Australia may have lower proposed custodial sentences, but a fine of $50k is more than double the current penalties in NSW & VIC!
Also - peaceful protesters should not be jailed, whether it's 3 months, 12 months or 2 years!
Good thread by @RoyceRk2⬇️#ProtectProtest
The Human Rights Law Centre has received advice the South Australian protest laws are so broad they could make it easier for police to prosecute homeless people and reporters covering protests. /1
South Australia has a proud history of protest that has led to monumental social progress
"It's a real shame both the major parties in SA seem to have forgotten that proud history, as they work together to try & take away people’s basic rights" - @hrw

'Protest penalties defended by SA opposition leader on basis 'your head would be cut off' in some countries'
Disgraceful comments by David Speirs
Peaceful protest is not something we should feel grateful for it is a basic human right! #ProtectProtest

@PMalinauskasMP believes the right to protest is a fundamental part of democracy, which is why he is taking it away with the support of the opposition. tl;dr @PMalinauskasMP and the opposition don’t want to represent a democracy, they want to represent oil and gas.
