Since the Fortnite fans seem to have picked up on this news. A couple of things to clarify:
1) Lots of you sharing designs similar to ours saying "these have existed for years" - yeah, those are knockoffs of our products.
2) The inspiration for the original stitched rabbit on which Plushie Dreadfuls is based comes from my 2000 game "American McGee's Alice." Pretty sure Fortnite didn't exist back then. Neither did the knockoffs.
3) I am not suing or otherwise harassing anyone over the situation. My original tweet pointed out that other people were pointing out the similarities. Thousands of people see it. If you don't, that's fine.
4) Engagement with the topic is only going to bring more visibility to the situation. You want to get that rabbit removed from the game? Keep making a stink about it. That's on you.
5) No one is trying to "win" anything here. I created one of the world's most successful plushie toy brands and a particular related style. We see people copying our stuff literally every day. We already won.

I love that Dressmaker is so reminiscent of the 2000s sparkly glitter gel pen girly games I used to play growing up like Barbie, Bratz, It Girl, Style Savvy, and more!
There is a DEMAND and untapped market for these type of HIGH QUALITY GIRLY FASHION DIVA games!
