यह हादसा लोगों के दिलों में लम्बे समय तक गहरे घाव की तरह रहेगा, लेकिन उसी वक्त हुआ यह जश्न यह भी दिखाता है कि कैसे कुछ लोग भावनाओं से परे होकर, संवेदना और ज़िम्मेदारी को ताक पर रख देते हैं।
