personally, i think there isn't much to consider - nowadays you either play a singleplayer game or a competitive game. the rest isn't worth a bother since it's abandoned. unless it gains relevance, gets to live off a month if the time is right

most modern multiplayer games lean on social platforms rather than in-game chat and hubs. throaway matches instead of quick play + server list is quite of a choice too. there are people playing alongside me although they feel distant

@SashBVB I'm not really defending these protests, but basically any large scale protest will have, yknow, actual protests and then a not-insignificant minority who'll use the general chaos to loot and rape and burn. That's every revolution ever basically. Doesn't necessarily discredit it
