@NarukamiKnight @NuclearStulle @RuneEyeOka It also can also just out value people because there are so many good lands engines which are tough to interact with. It also has a crazy ability to loop Glacial Chasm if you are into that. I won a lot of games on the back of that card and ended up cutting it bc it was so strong!

@NarukamiKnight @NuclearStulle @RuneEyeOka Late game you switch into mass land sacrificing and recurring to overrun and win the game with stuff like Moraug and Reckless Pyrosurfer. You have a bunch of ways to sac all your lands and then you can second sunrise or faiths reward them all back to win the game!

@PieBreakPod @wachelreeks Interesting, yeah I can see that! It definitely has diminishing returns bc the more flagbearers you get the less value they have but that approach just ups the utility of flagbearers making them have value in their own right

While not an enchantment I felt it worth adding to the thread. I’m a huge fan of this card and it’s an easy swap out for Brilliant Restoration which is already in the deck 4/5🌌

With #MTGDSK being themed around enchantments I thought I would review all the new enchantment and eerie cards in the context of my all time favorite commander Daxos the Returned🧵

Removal plus cheating things into play is quite the duo but Daxos is relatively low to the ground so I’m not sure the Access Maze side is all the appealing to us. I also have the same effect of a enchantment creature body already and I’m not sure the deck can support two 3/5🌌

@danaroach @RyanOverdrive Very much so. When I saw this set was an enchantment set (with enchantments heavily focused in Esper) I was very excited for some new toys for Daxos the Returned but most the cool enchantments have come in blue it feels like…

@NarukamiKnight I was complaining about this to my playgroup this morning. White gets great enchantments but really only has one true enchantress and that is a crime. Esp when blue is now getting one...
