Walkers, see you on the road.

Somewhere along the way, a hint is waiting for those bold enough to find it.
Good luck out there.
A Walker could carry goods across the desert, but every journey still needed somewhere to end.
Sellers began raising small shelters along the surviving routes, keeping a light on long enough for others to know they could return.
Most of them opened after sunset. Over time, people simply started calling them Night Markets.
After the war, movement became the rarest thing on the planet.
Roads vanished under the sand, fuel disappeared, and settlements that were once days apart began to feel like separate worlds.
The few people who kept crossing that distance came to be known as Walkers.
This world was quiet before humanity brought its war here.
Small settlements lived off trade, water and long desert routes until armies from other planets turned the surface into a supply line, stripped what they could use, and left behind a place too damaged to return to what it had been.
