@AmericanAir all I can say is after 40+years of flying AA, I am beyond disappointed with the service (or lack thereof) at LAX. I am returning home after a quick trip to LA for a funeral and the only extra thing I had in my carryon roller suitcase was a box of crackers.

Despite my bag fitting in the measuring box, they refused to let me bring it on the plane, so I had to gate check it. As a cardholder for decades, I was shocked that the guy at the gate was somehow able to eyeball my bag and say it was too big…

@WTOP Seriously??? Nothing scary about this!!! I’ve felt more shaking during thunderstorms here. Also, I’m from California and lived on the epicenter of a large earthquake in 1994 that caused significant damage and was truly scary!
