@ShaunBroncoBeat I’d disagree some with @PSPeregrines (sorry guys, appreciate your show) on this a bit. Nick was all over the place in the first half. Beyond his goal he was behind several quality attempts. Both of his bookings were soft.
That said not man of the match if they ended up losing
@BouksaniDesh@CalebPongratz10 Germany is… checks notes… ranked 10th in the world. They may not be favored to win it all this cycle, but they are a good team.
@RobTheHockeyGuy We take water bottles to soccer matches all the time. Have to be empty through security and they have water fill stations inside… just like airports. It isn’t hard.
@afcjaygooner Umm plenty of US players have played in the premier league.
Just from the current USMNT - Brenden Aaronson, Weston McKennie, and Tyler Adams all played at the same time for Leeds.
Jedi and Chris Richard also currently play in the premier league.
AC Boise is close to confirming the signing of Joshua Yaro, a 31-year-old CB who's most recently played for St. Louis City in MLS.
Yaro is already in Boise, but there have been delays with the paperwork before the signing can officially be announced.
@MLS_Prospects@avluey I’d agree his value has been experience rather than physical ability for some time now. It is what has kept him relevant and in the roster. He no longer has the athleticism to recover from mistakes.
I don’t want to see him taking chances that he can’t recover from.
@ShaunBroncoBeat Wish we could have gotten more info about Dengler’s injury in that post game. Since we’re signing another back it sounds like he may be out for a while.
@RileyABaller@ShaunBroncoBeat@ac_boise We had a terrible angle to make the call in section 205, but it sure looked in. Could’ve really used some goal line technology on that one.
@ac_boise We didn’t play particularly well and still felt like we outplayed them despite the outcome. The defense is definitely missing Dengler.
The time wasting was also out of control.
@stuholden I agree with reducing time wasting, but more to maintain pace of the game. But making rule changes for broadcast windows is how we ended up with automatic runners in extra innings for MLB. It’s a disgrace to the game.
@jasonfifield@MLSist@MattHughesMedia No! That’s not the way the game is played and fundamentally changes the strategy of the game. Limited substitutions and not being able to return requires elite endurance and creates strategy around energy expenditure.
