🚨 THE SPLC WAS JUST PAYING INFORMANTS - which is the Leftist narrative.

The Left is pushing the narrative that the SPLC was simply paying informants to monitor and report on extremist groups.

If that were truly the case, there would have been no need for the SPLC to route payments through fake entities and shell organizations.

They did so because the recipients weren't passive sources - they were active organizers who played key roles in planning events and rallying other extremists to participate.

In some cases, these individuals were leaders of the very hate groups the SPLC publicly listed as extremists, all while receiving payments from the organization.

That contradiction makes the "they were just informants" defense fall apart. They weren't mere observers - they were active participants, organizers, advertisers, and motivators. They were the REASON these hate events happened at all.

🚨 A $9,000 payment to stay home and raise your kids???

The Trump administration is drafting a rule, pushed by VP JD Vance, to let married couples with one stay-at-home parent tap the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF).

The $12B program currently helps low- and moderate-income working parents pay for daycare ($9,000 per child/year), serving roughly 870,000 families, mostly single working mothers.

However, under this proposal, a married parent could receive the same amount to encourage one parent to stay home and care for their own child (or children) if their spouse works at least 35 hours a week.

The family must also meet existing income limits

Unmarried couples and non-working single parents would not qualify for the new program, though they'd be eligible under the existing system.

No new money would be added; funds would come from the same pool, and the change could take effect in 2027.

There are mixed feelings about this new measure.

On one hand, it seems to address a longstanding bias against married families by giving them more support if they choose to have one parent stay home with their children rather than relying on daycare or other childcare options.

Supporting the traditional family unit - including families who want one parent at home raising their children - is clearly a value of this administration. And the evidence is overwhelming that strong, stable families and involved parents are enormously beneficial to children and communities overall.

Strong family units have always been a cornerstone of a stable, moral, well-grounded society, so we should absolutely be open to policies that make it easier for families to thrive.

But is THIS the best way to do it?

For starters, expanding eligibility without providing additional funding could ultimately leave single working parents competing for the same limited resources - potentially making them worse off.

And honestly, when has expanding government subsidies ever really solved the underlying problem?

Maybe the better approach is to stop taking so much money out of people's pockets in the first place.

Lower the financial burden of raising a family. Let parents keep more of what they earn.

Reduce the need for government assistance in order to achieve the American dream, rather than expanding dependence on social programs to make it happen.

If the goal is to make tradition great again - getting married, raising children and supporting a family - that seems like the better direction to go.
