@Only9built Driving up to Solden at night and could see some lights far off on the mend road in my rear view mirror. In an unbelievably short time it was behind and past me. 16km later I arrived in Solden to see the 959 parked up and almost cold. Incredible machine, lunatic driver.
@BrentLeeSDCIC Where do chemicals get emitted from on an aircraft according to conspiracy peeps? If it's in the exhaust, imagine what all these additives would do to an engine? The additives would have to be injected with the fuel as there aren't any other injection points.
@arw84@21_dougie@MikeyCycling Where have I said get rid of cars? I'm just in favour of getting rid of bad drivers either by education or if necessary banning them.
@21_dougie@MikeyCycling How much do injuries due to car crashes cost the NHS? Perhaps these drivers will pay more attention and not cause one of these crashes.
Another ‘benefit’ of dehumanising these children is that it allows politicians like Suella Braverman to duck their obvious responsibility to look after them. 187 desperately vulnerable children missing on her watch & she appears not to give a single shit.
@playboyreview@janemccallion@bilko_tony@mrjamesob Travel is never free unless it is by foot or maybe by bike (depends on the bike!)
The idea of these LTNs is to reduce traffic pollution in them. Also by reducing traffic perhaps more people will be tempted to use other forms of transport.
@Lewis_Brackpool @PhilGregson @mrjamesob That is nothing to do with 15 min cities, that is to do with Oxford Council wanting to reduce ratrunning motorists and introducing electronic gates in their LTNs
@cowtonb @bertil_hatt@carlafrancome@muggadugga Then why add in all the other nonsense?
Home insurance often covers third party accidents including cycling for those cyclists who aren't already covered by being members of British Cycling, CTC etc
