In Northern Ghana, hundreds of women accused of witchcraft live in exile.
Their voices are at the center of the exhibition 'Ghana: Branded for Life'. As many of them say: “I’m not a witch.”
Explore their stories and experiences through this virtual exhibition.
A young girl started staying with her mother’s sister at the age of 5, just because the school in her village closed down, and she wanted to have an education so badly.
Unfortunately for this girl, her cousin started raping her when she clocked 8 years old.
One day, the sister to her cousin caught them in the act and reported her brother to their father.
Guess what the father did ?
Himself and his son took turns on this girl for 5 years till she passed at the age of 13.
They sexually assaulted this poor girl through both holes till she could no longer control her bowels.
Today, the sister to the rapist is back on X like nothing happened, making stupid tweets and giggling, while the victim is yet to get justice.
The name of these rapists are;

Sister to a rapist is; Winifred Ogbuja
Mother of a rapist is; Felicia Ogbuja

If many Nigerian men stood up for the boy child’s rights like they are dragging Simi, their lives won’t be the way it is currently.
Boys raped, they are never there.
Boy child not in school, not there.
Boy child being taken advantage of on the streets, not there.
Time to drag celebrity, and be miserable on the internet, they are there. 👏🏾
@socetyhatesjay Simi see where strong head don carry you reach a simple apology will have solved all. Simi let her foolishness and lack of accountability get this matter this far. Honestly fame doesn't equal intelligence 💯
I haven't been on twitter today - but someone brought a few of my old tweets to my attention and I can't not address it.
14 years ago, I was 23, so I was definitely not a child. I'm not here to make excuses because I don't have anything to make excuses for. What I can't let anyone do is twist my story to fit false narratives.
In 2012, I lived and helped out at my mom's daycare while I was hustling my music. I tweeted everything that happened in my life, as we all did at the time. Kids can be mischievous. If a child did something I found funny, I tweeted about it. Kids are cute and lovable. I want to hug, kiss and cuddle them. I tweet about it. Nothing I tweeted was from perversion.
I was not famous, so maybe if I was, I would have understood that anything is open to whatever interpretation including being used falsely by a faceless mob. I've never been depraved in my life. You can retweet all the tweets in the world about me loudly crushing on people I admire/d. Or being a cheeky young woman. I wasn't trying to hide it, because I don't have anything to hide.
My team has been deleting some of my tweets because of how sensitive it is for my family. To be honest, I did not want to. I have always spoken against rape and sexual assault even before you knew I existed. It's not a costume I'm wearing, it's who I am. I've never claimed to be perfect. I've never claimed to know everything. I said stop raping women. I stand by it.
