@Winnifred101@KeitrenGraves@DispleasedSlime@BurnieSendersX It isn't used as a punishment.
I want a redistribution of wealth, there genuinely is no reason for someone to have as much money as billionaires do. Most of their money ends up untouched by them anyways, so why do they need it?
@Winnifred101@KeitrenGraves@DispleasedSlime@BurnieSendersX Taxation isn't a punishment, you are just greedy.
I'm not upset simply because SpaceX is "worth a lot", I'm upset that there are people starving in our streets, not receiving medical care, as well as being homeless when we have the means to combat it.
@Winnifred101@KeitrenGraves@DispleasedSlime@BurnieSendersX I wouldn't say I hate that it has increased, I wanted it taxed before this whole event took place.
Taxation is not a punishment, it is an act that allows our government to function and to ensure the welfare of all it's citizens. That is the point of a government
@Winnifred101@KeitrenGraves@DispleasedSlime@BurnieSendersX Because I hate success? No, I hate hoarding of wealth.
This country was at it's most successful when billionaires were being taxed upwards of 90% of their income. That's when people were able to set up their own families, and own homes.
I wish for the prosperity of all.
@Winnifred101@KeitrenGraves@DispleasedSlime@BurnieSendersX 🤦♂️
It's insane to expect people like you to argue in good faith. He can pay taxes on his ASSETS like other people do too.
We all know he isn't sitting on a pile of cash like Scrooge McDuck lol.
@Winnifred101@DispleasedSlime@KeitrenGraves@BurnieSendersX That's not what they said at all but I'll entertain your stupidity.
Yes, I do want to be taxed, as long as my taxes go towards the things I want them to go to. Not Israel, not the US military, and certainly not back into the hands of billionaires as "tax breaks".
@Winnifred101@KeitrenGraves@DispleasedSlime@BurnieSendersX Most of my paycheck goes towards my own expenses, as one's paycheck usually does. I contribute when/if I can, but I know damn well billionaires have a lot more money to go around than I do!
Individuals with more wealth than many countries can absolutely afford to live with less.
@Winnifred101@KeitrenGraves@DispleasedSlime@BurnieSendersX I do believe a handout will help improve their circumstances, which is why I think people like Elon need to be taxed at extremely high rates.
He can afford to be a billionaire instead of a trillionaire.
@ICXCsRedneck@firmstatist402@kb9903alt@Juan123445_Pr1v Formation of monopolies can only be stopped by a regulatory body.
How else do you prevent a company from cornering literally every market it can in order to reap the benefits?
@firmstatist402@kb9903alt@ICXCsRedneck@Juan123445_Pr1v People have worked without monetary incentive for THOUSANDS of years.
Money isn’t a naturally occurring thing, it’s a man made one. How do you suppose people did labor before currency was created? Or did we all just sit around and do jack shit until someone invented a coin? Lol
@RektReznor@rzchit@anarchist_frodo It not only rejects rulers, but hierarchical institutions too.
Capitalism automatically creates a hierarchy, those who own, and those who perform labor. You argue for a world where businessmen can LITERALLY step all over humanity and nothing will hold them accountable
@RektReznor@rzchit@anarchist_frodo Anarchism proposes a rejection of all hierarchy, and you think that system will work well with CAPITALISM? Explain your thinking further lolol, let me get my popcorn first though.
@firmstatist402@kb9903alt@ICXCsRedneck@Juan123445_Pr1v There absolutely are obstacles preventing those workers from doing that.
MONEyyY! You fucking troglodyte. One of the big end goals of communism is the abolition of money. You would know this if YOU READ A BOOK!! Then you might actually be able to give a valid critique, holy shit
