@amscanlon@RoisinMichaux Example 32,665 of how women are characterized as having trans enacted AT them.
It's a fucking fetish, Janet. For the women too. They aren't poor or pitiable.

@DonovanCleckley@thepeaklady@RoseFashion191 I've been experiencing increased gender zealotry from it, insisting on the primacy of gender identity over sex in discussions, all in the name of "accepted norm" and "harm reduction".
@DonovanCleckley You are conflating bizzaro medical procedures with a political ideology. Trans has gripped the consciousness of the elite educated laptop class as a political ideology grounded on intersectional marginalization.
The Feminist Sex Wars was not orchestrated by men.
@boardsofcanada Didn't even realize this album was coming. Learned of it late last night and listened to the whole thing while tent camping in the back yard forest at 1am, phone pressed to my ear like a kid with a radio under the blankets in the 20th century. Wondrous.

@DonovanCleckley I'm serious about how it fuels men to go trans. He gets to enjoy the benefits of male sexual entitlement with none of the male taint, bathed in female sexual harmlessness & sexual virtue. It is the endpoint of the moral project of making hetero men have sex like a lesbian.
@DonovanCleckley Oh, I don't need to be convinced. I'm already critical of cultural feminism in its formalized sense. As much as you might think otherwise, my sympathies bend more towards the radical side.
Thar said, we can't deny the impact of The Myth of Feminine Goodness in pop feminism.
@DonovanCleckley The passive tense smuggles in the solution, that's my point. It's a trope in much feminist analysis. See women who merely give trans movement political aid & comfort: They are "culturally conditioned" or "coerced into compliance".
I don't call homeless people "unhoused" either.
