In accounting it’s defined as: a sum of money that is set aside as a cash reserve with no specified purpose. Most of us are lucky to have one in our current economy. In contrast, the director of the FBI appears to be using his slush fund to pay extra cash bonuses to employees who are close to him and do his bidding. We know now that the DOJ was trying to set up a billion dollar plus slush fund that the president could use to reward many of the people who were involved in the January 6 attack on the Capitol and were later convicted of seditious conspiracy. He thinks that they deserve our tax dollars because they were loyal to him and were targeted unfairly by the previous administration. The Republican Party seems to be obsessed with people’s genitalia. They are suing, appealing, and making a big fuss over people serving in the military. Trump claims it affects our military readiness. In Talbott v USA, SCOTUS is allowing the ban to remain in effect while it works its way through the courts. Those already serving may remain, but no new potential recruits may sign up. This decision is on hold, while the court allows the regime time to respond to the decision. Pete Hegseth said ”see you at SCOTUS”. Does the US Supreme court protect anyone besides this president? Happy Pride Month.
