The best ideas to stop tanking IMO:
- Lower to 60 games
- Remove pick protections between 4-14
- Flattened lottery odds, that include every team
- Teams must meet min number of wins threshold (30 wins)
- Team cannot get multiple high picks
(Can’t receive top 4 picks back to back)

I also think this is a big contributor to declining ratings even though the basketball is better to watch. Americans want to support USA players more than international players, and still want the NBA to be an American league.

The next 10 most likely players to get it are probably American (not including embiid) but if those top 5 are healthy I think they are a tier above everyone else.

Hearing a lot of “the new CBA is destroying teams etc”. I think this is partially true, 2nd apron will break up basically any team regardless. Repeater tax is a fair excuse for smaller markets. But some teams are just cheap and using it as an excuse.

I like Atlantas off-season a lot, but idk if they are a top 4 seed like I’ve been seeing today.

Knicks and Cleveland are safe bets to be better. I personally think magic and pistons will be as well. While flawed it’s also a real chance PHI, IND and CEL beat them.
