I often find myself frustrated with politics and politicians. I hold my hands up in despair at the utter nonsense which passes as political conversation. At the utter contempt and disrespect these servants of special interests show towards the American people.

How dare politicians become stand in physicians and deputized officers of the morality police, quoting scripture as justification for their unadulterated cruelty to the people they were elected to serve?

It’s time for American voters to wash this foul political detritus from the corridors of government and replace them with men and women of honor, decency and integrity. Legislators who believe in fairness, equity, compassion and kindness. These are not traits of weakness, they are traits of politicians who can MAKE AMERICA CARE AGAIN.

In November it’s time to put the service back into public service and get down to creating a society in which no child goes to bed hungry and no family is left behind. A society where those that come back broken from the wars and the violent streets we send them to police, can return home and be treated with the dignity and honor they deserve.

When Jon Stewart fought this fight for 9/11 first responders, he unknowingly captured the sentiment of EVERY AMERICAN abandoned by their elected representative, who serve the dark money that funds their ambitions, not of service to those who elected them, but to those who pay them to work AGAINST the interests of hard working Americans.

Not all legislators are morally corrupt, but far too many are and they know who they are. To those members I say shame on you. America deserves MUCH BETTER.
