January behavior management strategy: Sparkling Behavior Board. Every time I catch a student doing the right thing, they get to write their name in a square. When the square is full, I’ll use a random number generator to pick a “big” prize winner and a few “small” prize winners.

One of my favorite holiday traditions is making stocking with my class. We then do a stocking stuffer exchange where the kids can choose to bring in a gift to put in each stocking. What traditions do you have in your classroom?

Loving my new crayon storage! It’s so nice when kids find a crayon and don’t know whose it is, they can just stick it in the drawer. When kids lose their crayon, they can just go grab a new one!
