O Allah🤲🏽
I ask You for Paradise, well-being, a long life spent in Your obedience, abundant and blessed provision, a righteous spouse, righteous offspring, protection from the evil eye and envy, and protection from every evil and harm🙏🏾
Political analysts Leonard Egesa,
I have been moving around the streets of Kampala in the last few days, and the level of anger among people is hard to ignore. From market vendors and shoe shiners to ordinary Ugandans and corporate workers, many so much tired of the Museveni regime.
I guess the people who abducted @NinyeTabz, @eddie_mutwe, @MakokhaMugeni, Lukwago & others are still at church, or returning now, probably driving home as they hum hymns from church.
I guess that is also true for their wives, kids, & friend who probably prayed for God’s protection for their own lives, but didn't bother mentioning Lukwago - his wife or kids. Those who cheered on the abductions probably followed the same routine today.
We humans are very strange beings, actually!
Where is #SamMugumya? (Abducted on 25th August 2025)
Where is @NinyeTabz? (Abducted on 17th June 2026)
Where is #KingZale? (Abducted on 21st April, 2026)
Where is #BalizaWilliam? (Abducted on 10th February, 2026)
Ladies and gentlemen, this is Uganda in 2026!

Messi was 35 years old when he won the World Cup and was also named the best player of the tournament, while Ronaldo was 37 at that time and did not perform well in that World Cup.
Today, in the 2026 World Cup context, Messi is 38 years old, just a few days away from turning 39, while Ronaldo is 41 years old. Messi is still performing better in this World Cup than Ronaldo was performing at 37 in the 2022 World Cup. Yet you people still use age as an excuse for Ronaldo. Are you guys not ashamed?
When Ronaldo fans see Sneijder, Nasri, Hazard, Ronaldinho, and other retired players videos or pictures, they insult them and use their appearance to praise Ronaldo. But when Messi delivers masterclass performances on the pitch, Ronaldo fans suddenly bring up age as an excuse for Ronaldo.
The same age you use to praise him and body shame legends like Rooney and others, it’s too obvious. Ronaldo fans are not normal.
The Minister of Water and Environment, Gen Kahinda Otafiire, has sounded a fresh warning over continued environmental degradation, saying destruction of wetlands, forests, and other ecosystems remains one of the biggest threats to Uganda’s future despite notable gains in restoration efforts

“Ladies and gentlemen, cars just don't overturn out of the blue. First, they veer off-track, then they overturn. Once you see the car going off-track, steer it back on track before it’s too late...” ~ Kahinda Otafiire.
As a 10-year-old studying Uganda's political history, I often wondered how my late father - a remarkably tough man - survived as a young professional during the brutal regime of Idi Amin. In my youthful idealism, I questioned how sensible people navigated the rule of a man history recorded as an "idiot."
My late mother would routinely counter my arrogance with a simple fable about a baby elephant complaining to its mother about their heavy, ugly tusks. The mother’s only reply was always: "Grow up and see."
Time is the ultimate humbler.
As an intellectual and strategist navigating the shifting - and often unorthodox - realities of our current political epoch, I finally grasp her wisdom. The eternal dilemma of the thinking man in today's Uganda is balancing the heavy weight of foresight with the stark pragmatism required to survive and build. When power dynamics evolve in ways that defy conventional logic, textbook idealism must yield to strategic endurance.
Life, and the unfolding trajectory of our nation, have challenged me in equal measure. The tusks make sense now.
There was a time when @AndrewMwenda was almost lyrical about the "philosopher & intellectual", Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
I'm curious what he thinks about a man whose has become renowned for "you are next," basement," "we have arrested..." "ongea kiswahili, "learn Runyankore" as his philosophical responses to public discourse.
Dear Andrew, can your man debate without a gun? At least we know, M7 can. Give him to us on the next #CapitalGang. I'm sure @OsmanPatricia will happy to have him.
Is King Zale alive or dead? If he is alive and there are any legal cases against him, he needs to be brought to court immediately

Lumbuye warns Charlotte to put her head down because she is corrupt. He says that during the COVID-19 pandemic, she stole money meant for oxygen canisters at Mulago, and many people lost their lives because of it.
Every corrupt official whom @NinyeTabz called out has a responsibility to account for his whereabouts. As things stand, you remain the prime suspects in his abduction.
If anything happens to him, the public will hold you accountable.
NB:Tag them.
