@Dexerto I think the thing that these replies forgot to mention is that most of the devs and musicians that contributed to the mod wanted to pull their assets out of the very mod itself. That means that yes, even if XQC tried to revive Calamity (a noble if not naive move), it would suck.
I know this isn’t the Undertale community, but as someone who has spent nearly a decade in the Calamity community, this is utterly baffling to say the least. SOMETHING needs to be said about this, and I am not currently in the position to deal with any of it myself.
@StreamWorks_ the Terraria Calamity Mod has gone through a lot in the last 24 hours, given the fact that numerous minors were endangered by multiple Lead Devs to the point where the mod’s stuck in purgatory.
If you have the time and energy, would you at least give this a look?
@wandydoodles I like to believe that the lead up to the survey program, with its suspicious text, is literally us agreeing to take the deal with the devil himself, while also being a double entendre for being the deal that Kris took in the Shelter, hence why they’re working with the Knight…
Prescribing 4 different medications to a patient just so they can shut up about the root of their issues that's causing them to act up in the first place has to be a crime.

@DrTwisterTime@Squido555 , so she generated an entire AI prompt and sent it to me instead.
I am ashamed to be in gifted kid burnout right now, on behalf of being associated with these types of people.
@DrTwisterTime@Squido555 omfg, agreed. get me off this sad rock thats designing a bunch of family-type people to become idiots. I want real life friends that act like Gerson and Queen, not Berdly...
Even my own damn sister, who is a certified doctor, couldn't properly psychoanalyze Deltarune characters-
@Squido555 an entire video about THAT brony convention because the teacher didn't know how else to describe the lesson at hand here.
The VGND course was so good that I almost got to beta test for iD Software's DOOM the Dark Ages DLC from a single announcement. Its just that good.
@Squido555 I took a first year writing course 2 semesters after a fun and exhilarating Pre-Calculus course only for it to have the most milquetoast and generic class sessions possible.
The Narrative Design in Video Games course was infinitely more thought provoking than having to watch-
people need to understand that transitioning is a thing you do, not a thing you are. "being trans" is made through the specific position in society that transitioning forces you into.
The reason why nobody from the outside (or even a lot of people on the inside) understand this is cause they assume people transition to be transgender and not because they want to be the opposite gender. Like, nobody wants to be trans lol.
@jahzbf70554 I don't, I don't feel a "mismatch" I don't feel like I'm "in the wrong body" I don't hate being a man and I'm not constantly miserable because I'm not a woman. Gender envy is very different
Westerners really need to stop pushing egg/trans culture onto people.
I want to be a girl, if I could respawn as a girl I wouldn't hesitate, if I could pull off crossdressing I would, I'm not Trans, I don't have gender dysphoria, not everyone that shows interest in being the opposite sex is trans, I am a guy will always be a guy and there's no way to change that no matter how badly I'd like to.
@spookydoodyt yeah, Dess doesn't have enough context, but her being the missing girl is felt deeply enough in the chapters we already have that I bet just like how Chapters 1 and 2 name dropped the Knight's name multiple times ONLY for us to see it in Chapter 3, we'll learn more about Dess too
@spookydoodyt okay, but there's a forced cutscene in Chapter 2 where Noelle is talking to Kris about... something? While she and Kris walks over words that were spelling out "DECEMBER"
Then there's the Berdly scene a while afterwards where he talks about Noelle losing a spelling bee, and...
How the fuck do you make a pro-AI meme where the AI "drawing" being represented looks like one of those generic scenic landscapes you'd see at the museum, while the human in RealArtist69's art piece depicts his face expressing the real, raw despair he felt when opening Twitter?
