56 days on the road, 39 in stadium games and some broken pieces of a dream. It was a heck of a "Journey".
Time to go home. Or at least the home away from home.
Thank you to everyone who sent their warm regards for it and to team INDIA, who fought like real BRAVEHEARTS
Ab saare sapne kahan poore hote hain... but don't have the heart to slander the players and support staff. They got almost everything spot on.
Memories of this journey will stay with me forever and sadly, so will the sting of falling short.
The 🌞 will rise again tomorrow.

there are so many things to hate about the stadium cricket-watching experience in India, yet ask any cricket-loving spectator what they hate the most about it; 98/100 will say - the DJ. It's embarrassing how they'll ruin the intensity of the game with the worst chant possible, not letting the tension simmer for even a minute's stretch and constantly howl from their decorated dungeons for attention 😔
the IPL-ification of the 🏟️ DJ is truly the worst thing that happened to this CWC stadium experience 😭
Day 42: 10 years back on this very day, on this very ground, Sachin batted for India for the last time...
We have lost enough on this day, we have lost enough to these opponents... NOT TODAY!!
#DoubtersToBelievers
Day 36: Despite the gritty efforts by the lower order, Sri Lanka could post a modest total on the board.
Don't think there is much of a hope for either of our neighbors, but there is some turn available. Can the bowlers keep the league stages alive for another couple of days.
Day 35: One last time @ MCA stadium Pune. Ben Stokes lit up the show on an otherwise dull day.
Not sure if my location will ever point to these coordinates...
Day 34: "Heros can be found in most unlikely places" or in the most unlikely games. That was the greatest ODI innings ever played. Take a bow, Glen Maxwell... The greatest last stand of an innings.
Thank you for that "I was there" moment...
Day 33: A wrap on Delhi fixtures for WC23. Couple of run fests, an Indian victory, a case of minnow bashing & an upset for ages. The cricket on offer was tasty but the in stadium experience was underwhelming at best.
To top it all, hosting a game in November was a bad choice..
Day 33: And when you expect to see nothing of note, we have a "timed out" for the first time in international cricket.
"Spirit of the game" avalanche incoming...
Day 32: Kind of scared that it might be happening all too easily and a little too early. But that ensures we avoid "a weakened but never to be underestimated" Australia in the semis.
Keep at it till the final whistle...
Day 30: And that's a wrap for Lucknow with a one-sided affair. Afghanistan's batting looked composed, not just here but also against Pak & Sri Lanka. Not sure if they will make it to semis but watch out in the upcoming T20 World Cup
Ps: Love you Lucknow for the Kebabs & Biryani
Day 31: Who are the favorites to win this?
What is your answer on Nov 4 and what would have been your response on Oct 4...
Ps: "Kudrat ka Neezam" is on full song in Bengaluru... Who is writing the script 🤔
@Sporty_Baba Not sure of the food but did see a few hand drawn banners in Ban vs Pak. Police was quite proactive to tap down the folks standing in places where they should not be. Noticed a few folks bring ushered to their designated seats. But it's India playing so things could be different
