I was thinking about the Barcelona game yesterday, not even the result, just a small moment that most people would overlook.
They go two goals up.
At that point, you can almost feel the shift, not on the scoreboard, but in their body language. The urgency that got them there starts to ease.
The game pauses for a bit after Fermín goes down, everything resets, and when play resumes, it is not the same tempo.
Nothing dramatic happens immediately.
But if you watch closely, it is like they never fully get back to that same level of intensity they had before the pause. The game does not turn in one big moment; it slowly slips away in phases.
And that is what made me pause.
Because it was not about tactics or quality. It was about what happens after things start going your way.
That same pattern shows up in trading more than people realize.
You start the week sharp. You are patient, selective, locked in. Then a few trades go your way. You are in profit, things feel smooth, and without noticing, you are not approaching the next setups the same way.
You are still following your process, but not with the same edge.
You give a bit more room than you should.
You enter a bit earlier than planned.
You take something you would have ignored before.
Nothing reckless, just slightly off.
And it does not hit you immediately.
But over a series of trades, that small drop in sharpness starts to compound. The same way that game did not flip instantly, it just drifted.
That is the part most people do not account for.
Not how you start, but how well you maintain your standard once things are going in your favor.
Because that is where performance usually changes.
Where did it all go wrong w/ @virtuals_io?

This is the type of transparency and roadmap depth we need more of from Genesis projects. Watching Dessistant evolve into a fully autonomous sniper/MM agent in real time is exciting.
We’re thrilled to launch on Genesis at @virtuals_io and want to share what’s next on the technical side.
> AI Sniping Engine: In final testing for ultra-fast on-chain reactions to large buys/sells with sub-second execution.
> Strategy Scripting: Enhancing natural language parsing so users can define complex market-making strategies more easily.
> Wallet Management: Upgrades for dynamic splitting, stealth rotation, and batch execution to reduce detection risk.
> Dashboard: Coming soon with advanced analytics, strategy templates, and real-time monitoring.
> AI chat: Now the AI can learn your personal responding style in a single conversation.
Currently, Dessistant is not yet 100% autonomous. We’re improving it step by step.
Starting tomorrow, we’ll be collaborating with other projects to test market-making using small LP allocations on Virtuals-based tokens.
This will let us refine the agent in real-world conditions before a broader rollout.
Our goal is to continuously improve Dessistant into a fully autonomous AI market-making agent that is adaptive, transparent

Governance: All Wave-1 Proposals Have Passed
Wave-1 proposals are now officially approved, marking the start of onchain governance for Virtuals Protocol.
veVIRTUAL holders voted to:
• Establish the Virtuals Foundation
• Fund the Sniper Defense & Yield strategy
• Support core contributors via a performance-based grant
This is the first step in defining how capital is allocated and how the protocol is shaped by its community.
To review all passed proposals, visit: https://t.co/IV6ku0Hl5M
@virtuals_io This is how true decentralization starts. It's not just about voting, but making tough decisions on funding, protection, and rewarding builders.
One-Time Incentive for Wave-1 Proposal Voters
Wave-1 proposals mark the first time the Virtuals community decides how protocol capital is allocated, how defenses are funded, and how contributors are rewarded.
To mark this milestone and thank those shaping it, we’re introducing a one-time Genesis Points incentive for veVIRTUAL holders who are voting in all three Wave-1 proposals below.
Proposal 1: Virtuals Foundation: https://t.co/Hu7TB4FZK7
Proposal 2: Sniper Defense & Yield Fund
https://t.co/JqplfB1Tzw
Proposal 3: Performance-Based Grant to Virgen Labs
https://t.co/GwpA7p39PI
This is a one-off to reward early involvement and help Virgens get familiar with the governance process. If you haven’t voted yet, this is your moment.
