@FenrirRex As an AL simp, I thought he wrote them pretty good. There's a great line in the book that says the AL's great weapon is the truth, and I think that's perfect. I just dont really like how mike writes dialogue that isn't ork dialogue. LOL

@iampsilocybin Daww thanks! I would say mediocre. Part of it was my own piloting, part was my dice rolls and then part was my choices. I think deceptors could work. Next time, I'm going to try some accursed cultists and terminators in the list for some scarier threats.

I played in my first tournament in 20 year this past weekend! I brought my alpha legion, using the deceptors detachment. While its not the strongest detachment, I wanted to try something off meta to throw my opponents for a loop. #40K #warhammer40000

Second game was hypercrypt necrons, so I couldn't lock them into their deployment. They also had a ton of indirect fire with the vault and the silent king, which I really didn't have and answer to. :( #warhammer40k

The third game was the dreaded thumder wolf cavalry list. And the mission was purge the foe, so I really didn't have a hope on that one. Thunder wolf cav kills everything very easily. I really regretted not having some terminators to roadblock them #warhammer40k

My first opponent was death guard. My tactic worked and he was more or less trapped in his deployment zone and I was able to score a ton of primaries. #40K
