@LAClippersFilm How do you feel about him? I like the defense a lot, but I think he's been overhyped as an offensive player. 97% of his 3's are assisted. He passes the ball even less than Mathurin and some how rebounds worse than Benn too. The 3pt FG% is great though. I'm torn.
@followAdamA@gimmeyrshare I just watched highlights of his top scoring games vs OKC, BOS and WAS. Every single 3 was assisted. Some nice self creation and pick and roll stuff with JV vs OKC and WAS. Elite defense and making open 3s is valuable in their own for sure. We'll see if the on ball can expand.
@Dat2UReturns These summer league box scores are weird, NBA says he played 30:46, but ESPN says 24 minutes. They don't agree on Acuff's assists, rebounds or plus/minus.
@ThaBoyAPhicial@Dat2UReturns Espn has Acuff at a -10 plus minus, https://t.co/MyuiNyR0pk has him at -12 in a 3 point win. Not good, but yes he made the game winning assist.
@gimmeyrshare@followAdamA That's fair but how much of that is different than Mathurin just in the opposite direction (Mathurin needs to prove it on defense)? I guess I shouldn't worry about the money, it's not my money. And I do like his height vs Mathurin's. The numbers just didn't match up to the hype
@HouseOFhoneycut My bad I thought you were saying Clips should've drafted him based on his summer league performance cause that wouldn't make any sense.
@LawMurrayTheNU That's the one to watch with MBJ sitting out vs Acuff. Unrelated, do you understand Clips fans' thirst for Peyton Watson? He passes just as rarely as Mathurin and despite being taller he has a worse offensive and defensive rebounding pct than Benn. And worse 3pt & free throw rate
@JamCristopher I have a hard time believing that LeBron hasn't already chosen where he wants to go, maybe he has 2 options he's deciding between (CLE and MIA). This Decision 3 just feels like a way for him to feel wanted and remind the world that teams value him.
