@LizPichon@bathkidslitfest We had a brilliant time at your session @LizPichon! Thank you! Thought you’d like to see this #TomGates card our son made for his Mum’s bday after picking up some doodling skills from you
Amazing setting for the 6th Student Social Mobility awards, hosted by @up_Reach to celebrate the success of students, mentors and employers in support of social mobility
A subtle England penalty shootout innovation (since 2021) is their deliberate, structured & functional use of social psychology.
Here, Saka is picked up by John Stones after his penalty, to swiftly welcome him back in the team.
What did England do and why did they do it?

In the run-up to the UK General Election, we have been using CogCo's ‘ekota’ platform to understand what election issues really matter to people across the UK. Find out what people said, and get involved yourself here: @CogCo_ https://t.co/bgQobPiZ8e
Hey @adamfleming - we've been asking a representative sample of the UK public what they think are the issues that matter most ahead of the election. Throwing up some interesting things. DM if you'd like a preview before we start blogging!
A new #AI application: “behavioural AI”
It can help call centre handlers be more empathetic when fielding calls.
@umar_taj@owainservice@CogCo_ say the programme could evolve into a “large behavioural model” (LBM), with wider applications.

A tribute from my colleague Ed Gardiner to the late, great Michael Mosley, reflecting on experiments he ran with Michael and the behavioural insights at the heart of his broadcasting @CogCo_ : https://t.co/OhnUvQ8UJu
@R_Thaler One of my favourite memories was seeing you interview Daniel Kahneman at the Behavioural Exchange conference in London back in 2015 https://t.co/KP5bt30TnB
I was so lucky to be able to have Danny Kahneman as a best friend and collaborator for decades. He usually ended our conversations with "to be continued..." but I now have to simulate his part which is impossible. My favorite image of us "working".
We are doing a lot of work at the moment at the interface between behavioural science and AI (Behavioural AI), which is the subject of our latest blog. Drop us a line if you're interested in discussing and/or taking part in a pilot @umar_taj@CogCo_ https://t.co/fjTelNEKRt
Ever been asked what you could do with AI? Want to understand more about the interplay between generative AI and behavioural science/design? Then here's an early Christmas present from @CogCo_ on Behavioural AI: https://t.co/D9WCmKA1gB
When @wagestream offered people the chance to save £10/month, only 3% of people took it up. When they switched this to saving the pennies on their shift (eg 55p after earning 80.55 on a shift) it leapt to c.30%. AND those that opted in end up saving £11/month on average.
If you knew a colleague was behaving inappropriately at work, would you speak up? In the light of Russell Brand, Ed Gardiner explains why most people choose not to. And what we can do to encourage more people to speak up @CogCo_ https://t.co/qwMs92d3eV
The latest @CogCo_ blog explores what people in the UK think their partners could do to improve their relationships. People who think their partners should 'listen more' might prefer to read other blogs @eugenemalthouse: https://t.co/ElaSc1WBNG
Very balanced article on the uses — and the limits — of behavioural science and policy making (citing @mhallsworth’s behavioural science manifesto) https://t.co/b4Dg532hnl
