@highwaylass I remember being woken early one morning by a car alarm pitifully beeping. After several hours got up to investigate and went outside. Beeping stopped, but started again when I got indoors - yes it was my smoke alarm batteries!

@ChrisThinkbiker There is a long hill for me to drive up coming home. Just before it was officially made a 20mph limit I checked the instantaneous fuel consumption in my car at 20 & 30mph.
28mpg@20mph and 44mpg@30mph.

@drphilhammond @GL650_LynneG I spent last Nov in hospital wih Covid on O2. Have leg nerve and walking problems since. Got the two jabs as soon as I could. Don't want it again!!!

@drgandalf52 My Mum made scones and put butter on them when still warm. Then we were allowed to put jam, or jam and then cream on one each -so warm scone,butter, jam, cream was the order of the day.

@SorrymateUK Having listened to the debate it was interesting that the air ambulance charities were saying that they wanted to stay as charities and not be fully funded by the Government. They felt that they could work more flexibly as they are. They still need support by donations.
