We were 43,123 seekers competing for 277 jobs on Gre No 1/2025 & spent at least shs6,468,450,000/- on cost for aptitude test at Nambole last month. The process is "translucent", it is it's self a draining one to young Ugandans. @GovUganda

A little peace of history with remembering (for my Uganda folks)

They used nom de guerre (fake names) to hide their identities while they committed heinous atrocities. For Eriya (Elia) Mwine, his chosen name was Chefe (Chef) Ali . He was RO/00017 (RO for Resistance Officer, the number of the NRA guerrilla fighters).

In Gulu, at the current Bank of Uganda building location, he conducted pubic firing squads of civilian individuals they accused of being rebel collaborators. I was a young child then, a teenager, but these memories are ever green even in my adult life.

When he left the 4th Division to become the Cheif of Staff of the UPDF, the entire region had been bombed into squalid IDP camps. The report Let My People Go, by Acholi Religious Leaders Peace Initiative, chronicled the then forgotten, now historicized, plight of civilians in these IDP camps. The UN called it then the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
