The European Wind Power Package is a significant step forward in expediting permitting processes and enhancing the auction system within the EU. This package will also focus on skills, access to finance, and stable supply chains – three key issues that OWFA members face.

The second OWFA Steering Group meeting of the year is taking place in Nordenham and we are discussing important topics such as:
· Turbine size growth in the offshore wind industry
· How to protect European businesses
· Greater predictability in the supply chain

🌊OWFA welcomes the inclusion of non-price selection criteria in the #NZIA to help drive the sustainable renewable energy transition. However, there should be no loopholes allowing these criteria to be disregarded.
