My issue is not with Ruto as a person. My issue is with the entire system that created him, sustained him, and will gladly replace him with someone just as dangerous. Kenya’s collapse is not the work of one man. It is the result of a political class that functions like a syndicate. Elections in this country are not solutions. They are reset buttons for looting to continue with a different name on the cheque.

Take our debt crisis. No politician is going to fix it because they are all part of it. They approved the loans. They inflated the budgets. They sat in the cabinet meetings and made sure the same thieves were awarded tenders. The ones you see campaigning are the same ones who signed away your future. You don’t solve rot by rotating the mold.

Same thing with corruption, land fraud, state violence, collapsing healthcare, and tribal manipulation. These are not governance mistakes. They are deliberate systems of extraction and control. And every politician benefits from keeping them in place.

The other problem is our education system. It trained us to obey, not to think. It didn’t build citizens. It built spectators. That is why so many still believe the solution is to vote in another president. That mindset is the result of years of intellectual damage. We were taught to look up to power, not question it.

The biggest mistake Kenyans will make is believing that we need another president.

We don’t.

We need to reset the system from scratch. Remove everyone who has ever been part of the problem. And rebuild a country that serves the people, not just the powerful.

Everything I’m saying now will become painfully clear between 2027 and 2032. You’ll remember this conversation when the next government is facing the same chaos and offering the same lies.
