and then she said her mom told adam to make an album about real life stuff instead of his usual music and so he made cinematic talking bout abbey and abbeys dad and abbeys brother and abbeys grandmother and cousin and sister in law and dog and
@GorgoBongo @tvntrumcvstle no you’re right, i’m sorry. but also after fans stepped forward saying they were sexually assaulted by this man and even after this blog post, adam continued a relationship with him and even went to his wedding. soooo i mean what was the point
@tiredvenus tbh i don’t think there’s enough of us commenting to actually do something. there’s so many fans who are against it. if people can spread the word then maybe
fans are trying so hard to invalidate Black, LGBTQ+, sexual assault survivors feelings and opinions because “adam is a good guy” and “he had nothing to do with it” .. sooo gross to me lol
i am absolutely disgusted with @owlcity right now.
one of his Black fans left a comment asking for his support for the #blacklivesmatter movement and it gained over 80+ subcomments discussing the issue.
it’s now been confirmed adam deleted the fan’s comment. wow.
i’m heated. adam has been my favorite artist for YEARS. i love him but that doesn’t excuse his lack of support and ignorance he is showing on social media right now.
there are so many fans defending his silence. for WHAT?! what do you gain from his silence?!
if he is choosing to post paragraphs about a comic book and music technology then he can fucking defend himself and explain why he is remaining silent.
owl city fans will do anything to protect adam but it goes too far when you’re invalidating other people’s lives. it’s embarrassing. they just don’t get it.
