Random Ep4 trivia: It is always weird and funny listening to voice actors doing fight scenes without any physical movement. For Raymond's "Martial arts", I made sure to add whoosh sounds to the nun chuck collisions for that cartoonish comedic exaggeration.

Small random trivia about Ep3 of BoLT: As it was one of the first in the series I edited, it was also the first time I heard Annette's real accent in the recordings. It is SO DIFFERENT to Victoria (who she voices)!

Ep3 is out! I enjoyed this tale a lot because every character descends into chaos in it. Also, because Al and Glen very kindly sent me some good ball bearings sound effects to edit in (surprisingly tricky to source).

Small random sound design thing about Ep2 of BoLT as well - this was when I decided the main entrance would have automatic sliding doors. Those really old flimsy ones. That way each episode's customer entering/leaving the building would stand out from the other shenanigans.

Editing a podcast which I hadn't written and/or recorded myself was a new challenge. Previously the stuff I'd worked on was at university, a couple of bits and bobs for a radio show, and a piece for a UK audio festival. It's nice to be jumping back into that world again.
