He Calls It "The Best Home Service Business Model"
Pest control isn’t sexy.
But it prints cash.
✅ Low startup cost
✅ Recession-proof
✅ Recurring revenue
@pestctrlguy & his team built a half-million-dollar business in 18 months—and they’re just getting started.
Finally @gohighlevel & @GetJobber integration
We’ve been connecting the two with @zapier for the last year
My team is testing the new integration and sounds Iike there are still a few gaps for some automations… but nothing a Zap can’t fill in for now!
Everyone’s big question…
Why do we use both?
GHL handles:
-New lead nurture
-text/email sequences
-automations
Jobber handles:
-quote
-job scheduling
-invoicing
-payment collection
-employee timesheets
-job costing
Jobber is built very well for a “field service management” system
GHL is the 500lb gorilla of sales/marketing automations
Jobber currently is not set up for marketing automations
GHL has nowhere near the solution for managing your field crew like Jobber can
right now, we use both.
I’m betting there is a near future where we only use 1 tool as a blue collar service business
If I had to place a bet, it would be on Jobber building in sales/marketing automations to better suit the needs of home service pros
I don’t see GHL investing time & resources to build what Jobber has on the field management side
(I have spoken to Jobber product team directly and they are telling me that sales/marketing automations are in the roadmap)
Purely my opinion… I’ve heard GHL team builds FAST when they see opportunities
If you're still:
– Winging your follow-ups
– Guessing which ads work
– Hoping a VA "gets it"
– Leaving leads uncontacted for days
You’re hustling hard, but not building leverage.
Let’s change that and systemized it all.
Most business owners try to “leap to the top” and end up stuck.
Steven Nash breaks down how to scale a service biz.
1. Business is like climbing a ladder.
Don’t jump to the top.
Solve one bottleneck at a time.
Most overcomplicate growth by chasing trends that drain them.
Here’s how @spencerclaeys turned one knock into momentum.
1. Don’t overthink it.
See a problem? Offer a solution.
That’s how one knock turned into $17,000.
Why AI Matters in Local Biz
Running a service business = Calls, quotes, scheduling, follow-ups, repeat.
It’s nonstop.
AI gave me breathing room.
Now I can focus on building, not chasing paperwork.
Chipping vs. Forestry Mulching
