The Federal Government of Nigeria is empowering women nationwide through clean energy skills, with solar training leading the effort. The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, @NASENIHQ, under EVC @KSHalilu, says empowering women in solar is especially crucial in the northern region. For Halilu, it is not just about equipment, but about dignity, income, and giving women tools to “do more, earn more, and live better” using Nigerian-made solutions built for local realities.

The clearest proof is the NASENI She-Powers Energy Initiative. It trained 50 women from Kumbotso and Tarauni LGAs in Kano on solar installation, maintenance, renewable energy systems, and enterprise development. The goal is to turn that technical training into income by positioning the women as solar technicians, energy entrepreneurs, and certified energy managers in the growing clean energy economy.

The picture below 👇 is the ever quiet young Governor Olusola Sanwoolu. He was a boy to Femi Pedro in a popular bank. When Femi Pedro joined Tinubu as a Deputy Governor, his boys followed him into the Lagos State service. Sanwoolu later became a Commissioner but he was more popular later as MD/CEO LAGOS HOUSING CORPORATION.

When Ambode was denied his second term, they shopped for a Christian to replace him. Cardinal Odunmbaku nominated Sanwo-Olu as agreed by GAC. Ambode confronted Sanwo-Olu in the primary and the delegates from the wards, which Ambode earlier refused to fund, gave Sanwo-Olu a landslide victory.

Sanwoolu went through hell but he survived, especially that time when one Igala woman implicated him. I took pity on Sanwoolu during the crisis. Note that he has never fought with his Deputy Governor Dr Obafemi Hamzat who was his former boss before he, Sanwo-Olu became the BOS Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu. By the Grace of God, he will hand over to Dr Obafemi Hamzat on 29 05 2027. PATIENCE IS THE WORD ‼️
