It might be time to share some of my story.

I grew up in the Soviet Union with very little education about money.

Came to the US in 2002 to study finance and have been fascinated by the world of investments ever since.

I worked in wealth management and then transitioned into➡️

@nickth3kid From what I have heard, there are two options to get rid of them:
- cash for keys
- hire a service that gets rid of squatters

The legal system is going to drag this forever - there is no protection for landlords and the costs accumulate very quickly

Even if you really like the potential tenant and they have great references, always run their background check ‼️

I made that mistake once for a wonderful lady with a sweet baby boy.

Ten months later, she was arrested in front of my house for drugs.

That wasn't her first offense...

Being penalized for your own generosity never feels good 😣 I have been in similar situations a few times.

Giving back to the world is great, but would people see more value in your time if you were to charge a small "consulting" fee?

We have not done all inclusive in a very long time, so I would not have any recommendations for that. However, from what you described, Hawaii and Costa Rica would fit quite a bit.

For Hawaii, I don’t like Oahu since it is too hectic for me, but Maui and Kauai are great with tons of activities to do.

Costa Rica is amazing as well. Plus, I love the food there and the fact that I don’t need to worry about getting a stomach bug like in some other Central American countries 😷

I have always loved to travel, but the level some destinations have recently become over-traveled is insane. It really hurts the local communities and the environment.

Plus, what fun is it to visit a place that is full of other tourists?
