GDC ends today. That means it’s time for me to take a break from Dokkan. I really will stop playing for now, but maybe one day I’ll come back again. Thank you for the fun times.
GDC is good, especially it is the first time we celebrate, but still need improvements.
Presenting another look at the latest instalment in the Kingdom Hearts series.
Kingdom Hearts IV will launch simultaneously on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Epic Games Store and Steam!
Stay tuned for more updates.
It’s weird. I’m not overly angry at any single decision Dokkan has made this year (besides maybe the time limited content, but even that I’ve come to terms with in a way). But the string of bad decisions since the beginning of the year has just kind of left me indifferent to anything they do now. I just find myself saying “yeah ok,” “whatever,” “cool” and that sort of thing to everything.
I’ll still play and enjoy it here and there but it just feels like the expectation that they make fun and interesting design decisions is no longer there, which I think is one of the worst places to be as a developer.
Bit of a bittersweet Letter. I think the New Battle System looks amazing, but we alarm got the news of Omatsu stepping down. He had the best run as Producer in the 9 years I’ve played by far (in my opinion). It’s Geppy’s turn now!
Btw, the new Dokkan Battle System - Dokkan Frontier look very amazing!
and LR Majin Vegeta + Super Saiyan 2 Goku (Angel) as Saiyan Day Headline is truly a great pick.
Hopefully we can see more EZA, especially Battlefield Majin Buu saga characters @dokkan_official@dokkan_global
Thank you so much for your hard work, Omatsu 🙏
A truly great main producer who helped lift Dokkan to the next level. I'm really glad he's still part of the Operations Team.
Looking forward to the future, and let's welcome Geppy as the new main producer!
