@jondelarroz I've been writing shorter books that average around 20,000 words to 50,000. Its odd because I feel I can say everything in the story, and I usually have twice the number of story beats of larger books. I honestly have no idea why modern writers can't do this

@tanpukunokami if you say "hi" it really does through them off, especially as a foreigner. I have seen countless Japanese freeze, even if you speak their language. I guess Japan just doesn't expect conversations at stores or restaurants, 😛
