Logged onto Twitter & saw the many tweets of those who have been victims of sexual assault or abuse. I just want to say, I BELIEVE YOU & It’s important to bring awareness to a problem in which the victim is always put down and blamed for. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT & YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Additionally, 1 of every 6 women has experienced sexual abuse/assault in their lifetime & only a few get reported due to fear that is left on the victim. Meaning that many of us go through our life talking to people that have been victims

Every year there is a total of 60,000 CHILDREN that are victims of substantiated or indicated abuse in the US & 8 out of 10 are committed by someone known to the victim

I can’t believe when I was a kid in elementary we would be coloring and we would all say like “pass me the skin color crayon” and it was the peach light one. I will teach my future kids that it is in fact peach and not a skin color color
