@johngalloway86@ManCity Blackmailing the British government, funding a genocide in Sudan, constant human rights violations, blatant Sportswashing. But yes, they're great guys and it's all a big misunderstanding 🥰. Shame on the journalists for reporting this sham story!
🚨🚨 𝗠𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Several reports from Chelsea sources claim Manchester City offered Chelsea £125M for Enzo Fernández. 🤯
But here’s where it gets funny… 👀
City allegedly wanted Chelsea to officially record the transfer as £80M, despite paying £125M — similar to how some of their previous deals have reportedly been structured.
Chelsea said NO. ❌
No funny business. No creative accounting. No “£80M on paper, £125M in reality.” 😭
That reportedly became a major reason why the deal dragged all the way to the final day of the transfer window.
Chelsea basically said:
“If you’re paying £125M, write £125M. We’re not helping you cook the books.” 💀💀
Manchester City: “It’s just paperwork.”
Chelsea: “Then put the real number on the paperwork.”
[@Shednotty]
I’ve written about why - and hear me out here - I don’t think Manchester City fans’ memories are any more important than anyone else’s.
The whole club’s been infected with a sense of entitlement that’s hard to even comprehend.

1. “We didn’t cheat.”
2. “And if we cheated, it wasn’t that bad.”
3. “And if it was, cheating didn’t make much difference.”
4. “And if it did, everyone else was cheating.”
5. “And if they weren’t cheating, the rules were unfair anyway.”
6. “And even if we cheated, you only care because we beat you.”
7. “And if we beat you, we beat you on the field.”
The protest against city at Anfield on the 11th of October should be strong enough to almost get the game abandoned imo.
The world knows they’re guilty appeals or not
Seeing as there are people who are still defending them:
Revenue in 2007/08 - before Abu Dhabi:
United - £256.2m
Arsenal - £207.3m
Liverpool - £159.1m
City - £82.3m
Revenue in 2017/18 - the final season covered by the breaches:
United - £590.0m
City - £500.5m
Liverpool - £455.1m
Arsenal - £385.9m
Revenue growth:
City +508%
Liverpool +186%
United +130%
Arsenal +86%
So City’s revenue growth was THREE TIMES Liverpool’s, nearly FOUR TIMES United’s and nearly SIX TIMES Arsenal’s.
”Because they won everything”, no they didn’t.
At the time they weren’t more succesful than the clubs mentioned.
United matched City’s haul of major domestic trophies from 2008/09 onwards and Arsenal won more FA Cups (3vs1)
United reached three CL finals, winning one of them.
Liverpool reached the 2018 final, Arsenal reached a semi-final.
City?
No CL finals.
ONE CL semi-final, in 2015/16.
And by 2017/18 their matchday revenue was still COMFORTABLY the lowest of the four:
United - £109.8m
Arsenal - £99m
Liverpool - £81m
City - £56.7m
Yet we’re supposed to believe that City’s total revenue exploded from £82.3m to £500.5m, surpassing both Arsenal and Liverpoo, who had built their status as top clubs for decades, was completely normal and organic?
Laughable.
