Peter Obi claimed he turned around Anambra State education.
Fact Check: Shortly after Peter Obi left office in 2014, his successor, Governor Willie Obiano, shut down 486 of these centers under intense pressure from the West African Examination Council, which had threatened to delist Anambra schools over examination fraud.
"I'm not given to emotional argument. The World Bank report that was released two days ago, that says what the President has done economically, is that a half-truth? The S&P report that was released, is that a half-truth? World Bank MD came to Nigeria and said that the economic reforms of President Tinubu has become a case study globally... I keep wondering where are they getting their own information? โ Analyst Obafemi George
Fellow Nigerians
Today, we celebrate democracy and the enduring Nigerian spirit. For 27 unbroken years, since May 29, 1999, Nigerians have chosen their leaders through the ballot, witnessed peaceful transitions of power, and resolved disagreements in courtrooms and legislative chambersโnot through violence. We have experienced the longest stretch of civilian rule in our history. Our democracy is not perfect, but it is ours, and we must continue to defend and strengthen it.
Dear Citizens of Nigeria,
It is mental laziness to compare the minimum wage in America to that of Nigeria. A country's minimum wage has absolutely no bearing on petrol prices. It is like expecting Apple to sell iPhones cheaper in Nigeria because the minimum wage is lower there than in America.
That is not how economics works. Economics does not concern itself with your emotions. The cost price of petrol is governed by how much it takes to refine crude oil, not by how much a nation's minimum wage is.
The only way to reduce the price of petrol and make it lower than the cost price is by subsidising it. Other than that, it is not possible!
But of course, it is easier to get emotional and insult than to engage in critical thinking.
"We are Igbos by tribe, but born and raised in Yorubaland, so yes, we are part of the Yoruba community. You see all these Gen-Z want to destroy what they canโt build. Our parents built the love and the bridge between the Igbos and Yorubas.โ

"Cisgender is a made up word. That means nothing. Do not call me cisgender. I am a woman."
We could not agree more, @RepHageman. ๐
We are tired of seeing our nation's leaders minimize the inherent dignity of women.
Thank you for standing up for biological truth.
This might be controversial, but I agree with her. Thankfully, both of my kids chose business.
You have to listen to it all, and if you do, I would love your opinion.
