this is a very popular mindset among women. unfortunate but true. the idea is literally spoon fed to women from a young age. idk why y’all are being dishonest about the way society factually is in your bid to disparage her.
in the texts from when the child was newly born, she’s begging him to take the child and he’s refusing. now, she’s reaching out for a visitation schedule and he’s ignoring. he doesn’t care about that child. just trying to manipulate public opinion and interfere with her life.
pretty sure the little mermaid was even filmed before they got together. and the last paragraph literally being him complaining about her not letting him use her for content as much as he’d like…
“I was expected to accept her participation in intimate on-screen roles, including kissing male co-stars in films”
I can’t believe he put his jealousy of Halle being a Disney princess in a court doc.
the abuse allegations were posted on Rubi’s close friends story before Halle and DDG got together, and we assume Halle saw it. we haven’t actually heard anything from Halle regarding that, and there was definitely no taunting. i understand criticizing Halle for getting with him-
“I could never be convinced to join a cult” and “I can spot a manipulator a mile away” and “I could never be abused” are all variations of the same wrong sentiment. Your false belief that you are above manipulation and abuse stems from victim-blaming culture.
Seeing people post things like “wait, when did people start liking Amber Heard? I thought we didn’t like her” is so telling because it shows how many just go with whatever the most popular opinion is regardless of the truth. And that’s exactly what happened in that case
Reactive Abuse: When a victim is abused, antagonized and gaslighted and finally stands up for themselves. This may be angry words, acts of defiance or even violence. The retaliation to the abuse. THEN the oppressor calls the victim the abusive one. Sound familiar?
