दिल्ली में छात्रों के प्रदर्शनों से जुड़े मामलों में दिल्ली सरकार ने एक अच्छी पहल करते हुए बड़ी राहत देने का फैसला किया है।

सरकार ने कहा है कि इन प्रदर्शनों से जुड़े मामलों में शामिल लोगों के खिलाफ कोई कानूनी कार्रवाई नहीं की जाएगी। हालांकि, यह राहत उन लोगों पर लागू नहीं होगी जिनका आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड है।

सरकार ने यह भी कहा है कि यदि इन मामलों में किसी की गिरफ्तारी या हिरासत हुई है, तो उसकी समीक्षा कर जल्द रिहाई की प्रक्रिया पूरी की जाएगी। साथ ही, प्रदर्शन से जुड़े लोगों के खिलाफ आगे कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की जाएगी और इन मामलों को बंद मान लिया जाएगा।

छात्र आंदोलन के दौरान जेल में बंद कई जिलों के योद्धा साथी रिहा हो चुके है। आश्वासन मिला है कि अन्य जगहों से रिहा करने की न्यायिक प्रक्रिया की अधिकांश औपचारिकताएं परिपूर्ण हो चुकी है तथा कुछ समय पश्चात शेष विधिक प्रक्रियाएं पूरा होते ही सभी को छोड़ दिया जाएगा।
