Native women advocates now step into that gap, organizing searches and refusing to let a single name go cold. Every flyer held to a chest is a promise that she will not be forgotten.

America at 250: The Whole Story
250 years.
As America celebrates 250 years of independence, I also remember those who paid the price for its foundation freedom is never really fully celebrated until we remember those who were denied it.
Patriotism and truth are not enemies. We can celebrate our nation's ideals while acknowledging the genocide of Indigenous peoples and the enslavement of African people. Remembering our history does not weaken us.. it gives us the opportunity to grow from it.
May we have the courage to tell the whole story.
