Hot take: We don’t need better frontends anymore.
We need less frontend.
People don’t wake up wanting to learn a new UI.
They wake up wanting to get something done, using whatever tool they already live in.
So we ran an experiment at @wearesellit9
We let Claude AI become the interface to book a trade-in.
No new app to learn.
No “best UI ever” award.
Just intent → action.
This isn’t about killing frontends.
It’s about accepting a reality:
- Users will choose their AI
- AI will become the primary interface
- Products that require learning a UI will lose distribution
If that’s true, then commerce (and trade-ins) must become infrastructure, not screens.
What this unlocks:
- Trade-ins accessible from any AI platform
- Faster intent capture
- Traffic coming natively from AI tools and not too many "Searches"
- Fewer surface-specific builds
- Brands embedding trade-ins wherever users already are
- A future where workflows adapt to interfaces, not the other way around
Claude is just our first test.
Our real bet at SELLIT9 is bigger:
👉 Trade-in programs that work everywhere, through any AI, without rebuilding the product each time.
Frontends aren’t dead.
But they’re no longer the center of gravity.
Curious to hear where others land on this 👀
Are we heading toward AI-first interfaces… or is UI still king?
¿Por qué creerse estar por encima de la Liga?
¿Por qué abusar de la credencial o de su palmarés profesional para sentirse el dueño del patio?
Este es un acto de agresión que debe ser castigado de manera categórica por la @LVBP_Oficial
¡CERO TOLERANCIA!
