Reporting and documentation is really important in data analytics, any field, I dare say.
What questions did your work answer? What's the impact of your work? How can these outcomes help us get better results?
Beyond the really beautiful dashboard, what value are you creating?

@Bunmie_oguns Labour pain is not a joke at all.
You won't even care about anything else. At that point you're fighting for your life and that of your baby, in an indescribably high degree of pain. Oh Lord.๐ฅ

I remember the very first meeting that reshaped how I present data.
I walked in with detailed charts and a long explanation.
Halfway through, someone interrupted:
โCan you just tell us what we should do?โ
That moment changed how I approach analysis.
Since then, I start with three things:
โข Whatโs happening
โข Why it matters
โข What decision this supports
Everything else is secondary.
One part of data cleaning that I used to skip is duplicates.
Iโd check blanks, fix inconsistencies, data type et al,
then remember duplicates when analysis had already started ๐
Now I work with a 'data-cleaning checklist' because missing a 'small step' can ruin the analysis.
How and where do I get a dataset that will stretch my brain when I'm working on it๐๐คฃ
I want a very messy yet realistic dataset, preferably in the sales or operations field.
Where's my best bet to search/look? Kindly advise, thank yooooouuuu

A month ago, I decided to revisit Excel because I wanted to do more with it for analysis.
Excel 101 with @ObohX did it for me.
It guided me from knowing the basics to analyzing data, extracting meaningful insights, and building dashboards from start to finish in Excel. ๐
This Friday, we would be discussing about what goes on in the real world of Data Analysis.
If you have been curious about what Data professionals do on a Day to Day basis at work just like I was, then you should come on this space.
We would be hearing from people who are currently working 9 - 5 or freelancing as a Data Analysts, Data Scientists and Data Engineers amongst other Data professionals.
If you are currently working as a Data professional, please come and share your experience so we all can learn and see the Data world from your lens.
Donโt forget to set your reminder and invite someone. Retweet for others too โบ๏ธ
