Most people have seen what happened aboard the Flydubai flight to Tel Aviv, but there are a few details that deserve more attention.

Captain Smit Machchhar is an Indian national. After being stabbed and left bleeding on the cockpit floor, he still managed to unlock the door, giving the crew and passengers access to the cockpit.

They subdued the attacker. An Israeli dentist worked to stop Machchhar’s bleeding. Yaniv Hayoun helped pull the aircraft out of its dive until another pilot could take control.

There were 174 passengers aboard, including 27 children.

After some of the conversations I’ve had in my comments these past few days, I couldn’t help but notice that part of the story.

An Indian captain helped save Israelis. Israelis helped save an Indian captain. Together, they helped save 174 lives.

Turns out courage, decency and heroism don’t come with a skin color. ❤️

There are sea slugs that eat algae and use the chloroplast/chlorophyll and then are just like…photosynthesizing. And they’re super adorable.

There are mushrooms communicating underground. There are seeds sitting in the dirt for decades like “no actually I will wait. It’s fine.”

Squirrels plant trees because they forget where they put their snacks. Relatable.

A CATERPILLAR GOES INTO A LITTLE BAG THAT IT CREATES ITSELF AND DISSOLVES MOST OF ITS BODY INTO ORGANIC GOO AND REARRANGES ITSELF, GROWS WINGS AND THEN LEAVES. WHY IS THIS NOT MORE BEAUTIFULLY TERRIFYING TO PEOPLE??

Woman that was in Ondo state stood up & began to walk by a declaration made by someone in Abuja.

The boy reached to me in tears saying how could such have happened.
I shared the story with @drpaulenenche & he was like maybe the whole bad publicity happened so that woman and many others we don’t even know about can receive their deliverance.

At the end of your investigation with the 3 kidney child, we discovered the consultant who performed the surgery still worked at National Hospital & the record was there. We obtained all and I published them all here. That lady never said anything since that day. She was ashamed.

So like I was saying, a lot is happening behind the scenes to encounter people through this whole event.
