Since the BS Arrest of #BRS (Ben Roberts-Smith) I’ve been asking “why even arrest him the OSI admit they have no evidence?” As I looked further into it and saw more reports, I was reminded of incidents I’ve come across elsewhere during my career as an #IntelligenceAnalyst. I stopped asking “why arrest him?” to “how could BRS convicted?”

Using Process-as-Punishment has become a commonplace tactic in Australia and overseas; it either pressures a target into accepting a deal just to make the pressure and stress stop, or make a victory for the target a Pyrrhic Victory.

This Substack is Part 1 of my attempt at Red Team Analysis focussing on defining the Red Team and the breadth of tactics available to it.

Since the BS arrest of #BRS I’ve been puzzled about why it occurred in the first place let alone subject him to a Perp Walk. As I've tried to look into it further, I've come across reminders of incidents I’ve seen during my career as an #IntelligenceAnalyst. I went from asking myself ‘why even arrest him?’ to ‘how could he be convicted?’

Last week's #fire at the Viva Energy #Refinery at #Corio could very well be due to a simple leak; per Occam's Razor. However, after some quick searches on history and surrounding factors; there's potential grounds for suspicion.

INTREP: PUTTING BRS THROUGH A BS ARREST

On 17/04/2026, Ben Roberts-Smith VC (#BRS) will be in court again after he was arrested on war crimes charges by the AFP and OSI.

Reports used for this report and information which has come to light since (see article comments) shows strong indications of unethical behaviour by the #AFP and the #OSI doesn’t appear to have much of a case (based on available information).

Amongst all the questions I have about this; one is constantly at the forefront - If they can do this to a #WarHero, what can they do to any other #ADF #servicemen or #veteran?
