I agree. We weren’t even dating when this happened, lol. She put about $100k of her savings, which was over 70m at the time, into my company, and her dad completed the rest.

My parents had just paid off a huge amount of debt my business had accumulated during COVID. I genuinely couldn’t bring myself to go back to them and ask for more money for this project after they had already done that much for me.

She saw how I was behaving, how sad I was, how I left my parent house and all that, and she decided to help me without even asking

I didn’t break that trust though. I paid her and her dad back around December 2024.
