DECEMBER 2024

UFO 50 - Huge variety of great retro-styled games. I don't think they're all winners, but there's a large amount I enjoy. Very impressive

Balatro - So addicting, unique, and well-executed it's insane. Incredible that it's made by one guy. Great music too

SEPTEMBER 2024

The Plucky Squire - Great mix of a 2D Zelda, and a 3D platformer. The art style's insanely cool, and it makes the game very charming. There's some clever puzzles and fun ideas here, but it does feel a bit 'style over substance' at times.

Astro Bot - One of my favorite games of the year so far. Amazing controls, level design, pacing, graphics, everything. Masterpiece quality, and well-deserving of all the praise it has been receiving.
