WATCH: Nangolo Betuel from the Ministry of Agriculture says the Etunda Feedlots Project was established to strengthen livestock farming and improve beef production in Namibia.

Speaking during President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah’s ongoing site visit at Etunda, Betuel explains that cattle will first be kept in feedlots before being marketed and slaughtered.

He says the initiative is aimed at helping farmers improve the quality and value of their livestock, while also boosting the country’s beef industry.
