@PhoenixMercury It is unfortunate that she is going through this. However, as guests in a different country, we have to observe and follow local laws. Marijuana is illegal in Russia. She tried to be clever hiding it in vape form. She got caught and is not immune to legal repercussions.

@OPP_HSD Cars, nowadays, are only good for 5 years before serious repairs/maintenance is extremely necessary and driving the snot out of them reduces their life considerably. If you drive like it's a race car, expect to maintain it like one.

@OPP_HSD I wonder if the tie rod let go. Lately, I've seen quite a few vehicles that have screeched to a stop. Fortunately, they were not going at highway speed when it happened. If the car clunks when steering or stop/starting, it's a good idea to take it into a garage.

@OPP_HSD I keep my vehicle in decent shape. I have also added a DVR that records my travels and speed. Generally, I have no issues with the OPP as they are generally people of integrity.
City cops are a different group. Best to have a GPS enabled DVR in your vehicle. Protect yourself.

@OPP_HSD I am confused about the G1 Combined with the lack of interlock device.
So it seems to me that someone who only has a G1 was driving alone. There must have been a previous dui to merit the interlock device. Quite possible a year suspension is going to happen now.

@OPP_HSD Drinking and driving? I definitely feel bad for her about that. The impound charges can easy be viewed as extortion.
Speeding is a bad move regardless and absolutely no excuse for it at all. Combined with a reckless and Greedy attitude behind the wheel puts all of us in jeopardy.

They can also keep the people honest using the HOV lane. A police presence there is needed.

@OPP_HSD I believe he didn't know because his needle was buried. Probably disappointed he wasn't going faster. I imagine that he pulled off some dangerous moves in the traffic.
It's to his benefit that the actual good drivers on the road managed to prevent a collision.
