@BBCMOTD He treads on the back of his foot, ankle bent over, clear and obvious, so red card. Cannot see how this should be suspended. It's a possible leg breaker.
@talkSPORT If you look carefully his foot misses the ball, it's the back of his ankle that makes contact with ball, so really poor timing, which is why his follow through touches opponent's leg and I mean glances his leg. Not like Messi who scraped down the back of the leg and got nothing.
@BBCSport If we review Balogun, let's review Messi who scraped down the back of the leg, didn't touch the ball. So now Messi should get red card and be out of the next game.
@BBCMOTD Would you want to shake hands with a player from a team that tried to kick the shit out of you. After 90 minutes is the keeper apologising, saying sorry. No, hypocrisy
@talkSPORT Any team can be beaten if you keep fouling and not receive cards, not get penalties, not see dirty tactics. The only thing the Ref didn't miss was his Labrador and stick.
@moayad9KM They shouldn't be in the area, just get cards out and give them all yellow, but no, the Ref did nothing. Am surprised he didn't scuff the spot himself.
@BBCMOTD The Ref needs to be investigated, and there are no cards for Paraguay. Animals who foul, roll over when just touched. Carbola got yellow card, yet never touched opponent who kept rolling over. Ref was a disgrace
@1resonnance@Footballtweet Rubbish, he went past once, then opponent got a yellow card. If he had a brain, take him on again and again on the outside, he can't touch you, otherwise red card. Did he? No kept going back inside !!!
@BBCMOTD A squad without game changers, no Palmer, Foden and Trent, plus 2 injury prone full backs. So Tuchel brought in Chalaboah ! Obvious time for Trent.
